.Sallie Kate McElwaney, wife of Laurence Busey Slaton, lives on Highway 74 south of Tyrone. She operates a beauty shop in her home. Her parents were some of the old settlers of Tyrone. Loonie Erastus McElwaney and Cora Cadillia McElwaney. Grandparents were Adolphus Fambro and Emily Fambro. Mr. Slaton's parents werer.awrence Lorenza Slaton and Annie Pearl Barge.
