ITINERARY Day 1 - Arrival Day After your flight you can catch the train at the Airport to Linz. Early arrivals may enjoy one or more of the optional activities or may explore Munich, Bavaria’s capital, on their own. Following the hotel check-in you will be offered “Dinner & Casino”. This package not only includes a four-course Welcome Dinner, but also entrance fee, chips and a free glass of champagne at the Casino Linz. Your arrival day finds its conclusion at the gambling tables. Overnight in Linz (Austria Trend Hotel Schillerpark). Day 2 - Linz-Vienna Take your time to explore Linz, the capital of the province Upper Austria, located at the river Danube. Linz is the third largest city of Austria and has been the European Capital of Culture in 2009. Its outstanding characteristic is its unique symbiosis between culture, industry and nature. In the afternoon you will be heading for Vienna. Following the hotel check-in you have time to relax at the hotel, before dining in one of the partner restaurants of Casino Vienna, which is located at the famous Kärnterstrasse in the city centre. Overnight in Vienna (Hotel am Parkring or similar). Day 3 - Vienna-Baden This morning you will get acquainted with the great old city at the Danube river – Vienna! Few cities in the world glide so effortlessly between the present and the past like Vienna: the majestic Ring Boulevard, magnificent Hofburg Palace, the impressive Vienna Opera House and amazing St. Stephen’s Cathedral, to name just a few of the sights you may enjoy during a city tour. Waltz through the parks of Vienna and take your time to savor each classic sight and sound. Shop in the Kärntnerstrasse and have a taste of a most delicious Sachertorte or Apfelstrudel in a typical Vienna café, before you take a short train ride to Baden, located just 20 km south of Vienna and famous for its spas. After check-in in a historical Four Star house, you will experience a great Austrian dinner in the Casino Baden, where you also have the opportunity to adore the Art Nouveau architecture of that amazing building. Overnight in Baden (Grand Hotel Sauerhof or Hotel Schloss Weikersdorf). Day 4 - Baden-Graz After breakfast you may take your time to enjoy the spa at the hotel or take a walk in the parks of the historical centre of Baden. After lunch you will be heading for Graz. Following the hotel check-in you have time to relax at the hotel spa, to explore the town centre or to visit the Casino Graz, before dining in one of its partner restaurants. Of course you are welcome to try your luck again also afterwards. Overnight in Graz (Palais Hotel Erzherzog Johann or Hotel Wiesler). Day 5 - Graz-Velden In the morning you may take a sightseeing tour through Graz, Styria’s capital and second largest city of Austria. Graz has been European Capital of Culture in 2003 and got the title of a City of Culinary Delights in 2008. It combines great modern life and historical architecture in a beautiful mix of past and present. Don’t miss a lunch on top of the roofs of Graz, at a restaurant on the Schlossberg. In the evening Casino Velden is looking forward to welcoming you, after having a luxurious dinner in one of its partner restaurants. The modern Casino Velden is offering gambling in an extraordinary ambience with a scenic view over Lake Wörthersee. Overnight in Velden (Casino Hotel Velden or similar). Day 6 - Velden-Salzburg In the morning you may explore Velden, located at the shore of Lake Wörthersee in the most southern province of Austria – Carinthia. Stroll along the lake, take a ride on a Wörthersee cruise or join a sightseeing tour through Klagenfurt, the capital of Carinthia. In the afternoon you will enjoy a scenic train ride through the Alps towards Salzburg. This day finds its conclusion in Casino Salzburg. In the afternoon you will be heading for the Olympic city Innsbruck. Make yourself comfortable, before you enjoy the four -course menu at a partner restaurant of Casino Innsbruck. Day 8 - Innsbruck-Bregenz After a hearty breakfast you have time to explore Innsbruck’s Old Town at your own pace or to join one of several sightseeing tours. Popular attractions include the incredible assembly of crystal attractions of Swarovski in Wattens, the Silver Mine of Schwaz, the Ambras Castle, a ride on a cable car to the top of the mountains on an altitude of 2.256m, which offers a breathtaking view and an adrenalin rush at the highest level and of course - The Golden Roof. In the afternoon you will take the train to Bregenz. Following the hotel check-in in one of Casinos Austria’s partner hotels you will be offered again “Dinner & Casino” at Casino Bregenz. Overnight in Bregenz (Hotel Mercure Bregenz City or Hotel Weisses Kreuz). Day 9 - Farewell Day Take your time to explore Bregenz, the capital of the province Vorarlberg, located at Lake Constance. In Bregenz each year two world-famous festivals take place: Bregenzer Frühling and Bregenzer Festspiele.
