Dear Parents: I hope you enjoyed your spring break! It was a restful time for me. Report Card Conferences begin today. If you have not yet signed up for a conference, please see the sign-up sheet outside the classroom door. If none of the available times works for you, please let me know and we can work out a different time. There is no spelling test or Bible memory work this week. We will begin our new verse and catechism but there is no quiz until next week. We will begin learning the four Southwest states, but the quiz will not be until the following week. Our Science Fair is coming up on April 27th. If you need assistance in choosing a topic for your child to research and report on, please let me know. You might want to check out the website sciencebuddy.org to help you with giving your child guidance. This project is not something that we will spend a lot of time on in class due to time constraints. Next week we will have our standardized testing. Please take extra care to make sure your child is well rested, has a good breakfast, and arrives on time for these tests. Testing will be from 8-10 each morning. We are now beginning our final quarter for this school year. Let’s make it the best one yet! Mrs. Tufts

And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.”
