Year 3 Homework is due to be completed and returned by Monday 11th April, 2016. Please remember you should try to complete at least two pieces of homework from each subject.
English:
Maths: Choose 2 or more to complete: 1) Time how long it takes for you to get to school each morning. Then time how long it takes to get home every day after leaving school. Record your results in seconds, minutes and hours. Compare the two sets of results. 2) Design your own 3D analogue clock labelling the minutes and hours.
Choose 2 or more to complete: 1) Write a diary or a report of a journey you have taken, it could be far away or just to a park. Think about how you got there, who you went with, who and what you saw and did. You can include photographs if you want to.
3) Create a poster explaining how to multiply and divide decimal numbers by 10 and 100…
2) Design an advert or poster for an airline. 3) Write a poem about a journey or destination. 4) Create a fact book about airplanes.
Don’t forget to read your Reading Books, practise your Weekly Spelling Words in time for your test and learn your Times Tables.
