Expansion of an existing oceanarium facility located on an extremely steep peninsula of land above Aberdeen Harbour, the plan converts the project from an existing capacity of 1.25 million people to a more diverse recreation facility with twice the capacity catering to a wider spectrum of age groups and more frequent repeat customers. Besides development of plans for the physical facilities, access to the site and movement through the various elements and events were critical in the planning process.
