With many disabled vets living on limited incomes, it’s my hope that eliminating the license fee will help more veterans enjoy these great outdoor activities. The featured speaker this year, Corporal Roy Thomas, shared a testimonial as a “wounded warrior.” Corporal Thomas was injured in 2004 by a hand grenade while serving his first tour of duty in Iraq. He was awarded the Military Order of the Purple Heart as well as the Bronze Star Combat V.
