How the Stations work

How the Stations work • Two soldiers will carry a curtain on poles from station to station in gym (only for Stations 1-9). • For Stations 10-14, there will be no curtain, as these will take place on stage. • Stations 10-14 will require 4 roundlights and the 2 side-stage work lights. • See map next slide.

How the Lights work • For the Gym, we have: – 4 Extension cords – 3 sets of lamps (designated as pink, orange, and green on map) – Two (hopefully 3) power strips to plug lamps in (they stay plugged into this, and when moved, move together)

• For the Stage we have: – 2 extension cords (hopefully) – 2 Work lights (need to be plugged in by Gabi & ?? to turn on)

• Side Stage: there will probably also be a projector with a laptop plugged in by the stage—Griffin & Tristin will be in charge of this. Speakers with mp3 of thunder will also be ready for Station 12 • A quick animation follows—don’t worry if it doesn’t make sense yet. Directions will come after, along with another animation showing studentmovement paths.

How the Lights work • Simply move pink lights (don’t unplug) from Stations 1 to 2 – After Station 3, move these lights to Station 8

• Move orange lights (don’t unplug) from Stations 3 to 4 •

After Station 6, move these lights to Stage Plug.

• Move green lights (don’t unplug) from Stations 5 to 6 to 7 – After Station 8, move these lights to Stage Plug.

• At end of Station 9, Gabi & __ turn on Stage lights (plug in carefully), and adjust toward Center Stage. Note: I did the best I could with the animations, I hope they help—they are not exact, but they provide a visual.

At end of Station 9 • Lights crew in all other parts of gym (except two students at bottom of stage with 4 lamps) will unplug extension cords and move them QUIETLY away from walk spaces to avoid danger. • Two extra lamps (with powerstrip) should be placed in bin by MS side door after Station 9. • An extra student should be ready to help tired light-holders at bottom of stage when needed (simply sit in the audience) • Other lights people should sit in their positions with audience, careful to respond loudly to prayers, so that other students know what to do.

At end of Stations (when most people have left) • All FLOOD lights need to be unplugged from power-strips, cords wrapped, and placed in bin (there should be six) • Work lights on stage need to be carefully unplugged. THEY WILL BE HOT!! Leave them there to cool. • All extension cords should be carefully wrapped. ONLY GREEN CORD goes in bin. Give Sister the rest (I know where they belong).
