How to Add an Ad-Hoc Order An ad-hoc order is an order where that's being entered manually. The customer did not purchase through a shopping cart for whatever reason and it needs to be added manually. An example could be if someone had troubles running their credit card through the order form, you could offer to process it manually. Search for the contact you'd like to add.
Click into the person's contact record to add the order.
Scroll down within the record and click orders

Enter the actual order Click order type - select online of offline. Online means you're charging a credit card now, offline means the payment has already been received, you're just entering the order for accurate sales reporting.
Click save Once you click save the rest of the order form will populate.

Select the order item or create a misc. purchase If you're adding a one-off order or random amount, you can simply type whatever name you like in the Product Name. The benefit of selecting an existing product is that the amount, type, and other order information will auto-populate.
Modify if necessary Once you select the product you're looking for, you can modify the items below. For example, if someone had paid half of the Yoga Kickstart price previously, you could adjust the product name to Yoga Kickstart, Custom Payment. Then change the amount field to whatever you'd like it to be.

Save order Once all changes are made, save the order.

Add Payment Now you see a balance due in red. The next step is to click add payment. Remember, this can be an actual payment (charge credit card now) or a payment that's already been made and you're just adding the order to IFS for accuracy.
Select the payment type and add additional details if applicable.

Completed The payment has now been processed. When you look at the top of the order the status says "PAID". When you scroll down, the red balance due is gone. The order has officially been processed.
