Slide the battery cover up and off the phone.

Plug the red probe into the center jack, the black probe into the bottom jack, and turn the range selector switch to 20 DCV. 

Turn the multimeter on.

Step 4



Touch the red probe to the indicated positive side and the black probe to the indicated negative side. 

Replace the battery if the voltage reads below 2.5 volts.
