How to: Log Your Personal Hours Enter the number of hours you have volunteered. Enter a name/title for these hours. Enter the date the you volunteered or plan on volunteering. Note: If this is a recurring event or you will be entering this same instance several times, you can either check the ‘Event Repeats’ feature and then select an ‘End Date’, or you can save this as one instance, then use our ‘Copy Event’ feature after this instance is saved. If you use recurring, please ensure you enter the amount for just once instance and not the total hours of the entire series of events.

Select the appropriate event type & event category. Enter the location details of this volunteer time.

How to: Log Your Personal Hours Find the organization you supported with this time. Click ‘Search for an organization’. You can select from your ‘Favorites’ drop-down list or search the database. Enter the charity name or EIN (tax identification number) in the search pop-up. You can narrow the results by geography. Click ‘Select’ when you find the right charity. Select the Sustainable Development Goal that your volunteer time most closely impacts.

How to: Request a Volunteer Grant Employees & Retirees are eligible for a $500 Volunteer Grant after you have logged 25 hours to a single organization within a calendar year. From Community Home, click Volunteer, and your eligible grants will be listed on the My Volunteering page.

Click ‘Apply Now’.

How to: Request a Volunteer Grant Complete the Volunteer Grant application. Click ‘Next’.

Optional: enter a Designation to be included with the grant. Select the appropriate events/hours that you want counted towards this grant. You must select the minimum amount of hours for grant eligibility to proceed. Click ‘Submit’. Need help? Contact [email protected]

How to: Check Your Grant Status Once you have submitted a Volunteer Grant request, it will be reviewed by the Program Administrator. You can check the status of it at any time via your Donation History page. ‘Requested’ = pending review by an administrator “Processing” = the grant has been approved, and it is pending processing. It will be sent in the next monthly disbursement. “Denied” = the grant was denied. If you have questions about the denial, please reply to the deny email message you received. “Resubmit” = there were questions with your request. Review the resubmit email you received and reach out if you have questions. Once a grant is sent out to the charity, the status will change to “In Transit”. Once it is cashed by the charity, it will move to the bottom Donation History section as “Complete”. Need help? Contact [email protected]
