How to Register and to Print an ID Card Beginning with the 2016/2017 registration year, all players and adult volunteers for Rugby Illinois clubs must register online through the Rugby Illinois registration system. By registering as a player with Rugby Illinois you are also registering with USA Rugby and have all the benefits of membership in both organizations. Players will no longer directly register in the USA Rugby membership system (adult volunteers will register separately for both). This document explains the process for individuals to register as players as well as for players to print the ID card that must be brought to every match and to every tournament or official function requiring proof of membership and compliance. 1. Find the online registration form at http://www.rugbyillinois.us/. There is link on the home page, or you can find a link at the bottom of the registration page http://www.rugbyillinois.us/registration/#regmem. . 2. Create and/or sign in to your personal account on the website. 3. Complete the online registration form. The form will walk you through the process, but it includes the following basic steps. a. Provide basic information including contact details, demographic information, and club/team as well as medical/insurance information. b. Print, sign, and file policy documents and waivers, and provide electronic signoff. c. Pay the standard USA Rugby registration fees. 4. Upload a photo to your account on the website. 5. After notification by email of being added to the team’s roster on the website, return to the site and print your ID card. Keep it handy to bring to the next match or tournament. Note that if you are a parent registering your child, you should create the account for yourself with your own information. During the registration process you will be prompted for the appropriate information for your child and be able to manage the registrations for all your family members from your account. For children under age 13, registration must be completed by a parent or legal guardian. Parents will then have access to view or modify the information after registration and to request deletion of registration information after the season, if requested. It is necessary to maintain the registration information provided for any child participating, but for any registered players the information will be kept confidential and only accessed on an asneeded basis to ensure compliance and to provide to USA Rugby. Online rosters will be used to aid in compliance checks but will only contain name, school, and grade in school.

Print ID Card Once the player is added to the roster with some of the registration details, an ID card can be printed from this same portal by selecting the entry in the Team Memberships section at the bottom of this page above and clicking the Print button. All registered players will be notified by email when rosters are ready and ID cards can be printed.
How to Register and to Print an ID Card 6. Adjust communication settings Modify your account settings to ensure you receive only the communications you want in the way you prefer. Make sure that you receive communications from Rugby Illinois and from your club through the Rugby Illinois website in your preferred format (email or text message) and opting out of communications from SportEngine or their affiliates (although they only to send promotional emails to website administrators and not to regular members).
