TOOLS: Paper Towels (1) Goo Gone Automotive Cleaner (1) Latex or nitrile gloves (1)

Step 1 — How To Remove Hardened Masking Tape From Car Paint

 Goo Gone can be harmful to skin after prolonged exposure so be sure to have your gloves on during this entire process. 

Spray the paper towel 2 times with the Goo Gone. 

Be sure to turn the nozzle into the "on" position.

Step 2 

Press the wet paper towel against the hardened tape for about 30 seconds.

 This will soften the tape.

Aggressively scrub the tape for about 10 seconds.

Step 4



Repeat steps 2 and 3 until all of the adhesive residue has been removed.
