How to Set Up your Intellicorp National Background Check Account

First you must gather some information to have handy for the registration process. You will need:      

Name and contact information for the contact person in your local church. You can use the church as the contact point. You need the promotion code for our conference which is phlypnw Our sales person is Matt Garbinkus Tax ID number for the church Bank name and phone number where you hold your account Two trade references: name and phone number for two vendors with whom you do business

Now you are ready to go to the website and register

www.intellicorp.net and click on Sign-up Today

Fill in the information for your local contact. For Business type field choose non-profit. For Promotion Code enter PHLY When done, click on Next Step in the bottom right…

On this page select Employment screening and volunteer screening and click on Next Step…

Put your Tax ID number in the top space. Click on the check box if the contact person and the billing person are the same. Otherwise fill in the billing information. You will only be billed after you use the 5 checks the conference is paying for in 2010 and 2011. You may receive an invoice with a negative balance. You do not have to pay anything until the invoice is for a positive number. The negative balance shows the credit to your account from our deposit into your account. At the bottom of the page is a place to put in your bank name and phone number as well as the two vendor contacts. You do not have to put in account numbers. Click on Next Step…

This is the service agreement for use of the system. Click I Agree…

This is the final window. It will show your account ID and your User ID. The contact person will receive and email with instructions from Intellicorp. It may take a day or two for them to verify your account information. To log in and use the system go to www.intellicorp.net and click on the log in button at the upper right. You will use the user ID from the above page and the password they send you to log in the first time. Passwords will be reset every few months for security purposes. From the website you can download a user guide under the help menu. The document Using the Intellicorp Website will guide you through running a background check.
