How will you help?
Christ Our King Presbyterian Church, Bel Air, and Knox Presbyterian Church, East Baltimore, have again joined efforts to provide Thanksgiving boxes of food to Harford County, Baltimore City and surrounding areas for families in need. Each box contains a frozen turkey and enough food to feed a family of five for several meals. _______________________________________________________________________________ With a goal of distributing over 1,000 boxes, preparations are a year-round effort. YOU CAN HELP. Prayers for the initiative are needed as well as prayers for those who will receive the boxes. Although much of the food is purchased from the Maryland Food Bank, local grocery stores and big “box” stores, donations of food, money, and time are all appreciated. Civic and service organizations and local businesses can also participate in this exciting and worthwhile endeavor. Christ Our King is the conduit for giving from these organizations. To sponsor a box of food, the cost is $40.
