ceeding on all but one. The pair first clim bed the N ortheast Face o f Huandoy Sur from the Pisco high cam p, bivouacking on the summ it. T heir attem pted descent the next day down the northw est face to the plateau between the south and w est sum m its was thw arted by poor visibility, and they were forced to reascend and bivouac again. The next day they reached the plateau, then clim bed to the col between Huandoy O este and Norte. They clim bed O este via the N ortheast Ridge and bivouacked back on the col. On the fourth day they clim bed the Normal Route on N orte and dow nclim bed the north east face to the col at its base. They decided to abort their attem pt o f the West Ridge o f Huandoy Este, and made their way back to camp. (High M ountain Sports 162)
