Size US H-8 (5 mm) crochet hook, or size to obtain gauge. Yarn needle.
GAUGE 13 dc and 7 rows = 4”/10cm.
INSTRUCTIONS NOTES Each square on the Chart represents one dc. There is an extra stitch at each end of the chart that is not repeated. Work across chart from right to left for RS row; from left to right for WS row. Hold unused color on top of row and work over it, hiding it inside the stitch. To change color, work to last 2 loops on hook of first color, yarn over with new color and draw through 2 loops on hook so that new stitch will be entirely in new color. BLANKET With A, ch 146. Beginning with Row 1 at the right end of the Chart, dc in 3rd ch from hook and in each ch across—144 sts. Continue to follow Chart, working 36-st repeat four times across each row, repeating Rows 1-20 three times, then Rows 1-11 once. Do not cut yarn; work edging as follows: Edging Using A, ch 3, *dc in each dc along top edge of Blanket to corner, work 3 dc in corner, work 2 dc in row along each side edge of Blanket to next corner, work 3 dc in corner; repeat from * to * along bottom edge and other side edge of Blanket; join with sl st to beginning ch 3. Cut yarn. FINISHING Weave in ends.
