INVITATION TO BID NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS The City of Humboldt, Tennessee will receive sealed construction bids for Security Fencing - Phase II for Humboldt Municipal Airport. The bids will be received at Humboldt Municipal Airport, 4655 Main Street, Humboldt, TN 38343 until 2:00 pm local time on November 8th, 2012, and at that time will be opened and publicly read. Contract documents may be obtained from TLM Associates, Inc., 117 East Lafayette Street, Jackson, TN 38301 for a nonrefundable deposit of $50 per set. They may be examined at the offices of TLM Associates, Inc.; Humboldt City Hall; West Tennessee Plans Room; and FW Dodge. The Humboldt Municipal Airport Authority, in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000D to 2000D-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation Subtitle A, Office of the Secretary, Part 21, Nondiscrimination in state and federally assisted programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all Bidders that each Bidder must affirmatively insure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this Notice and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, creed, sex, handicap, or national origin in consideration of an award.
