PYLON SIGN

The gorgeous architecture of the retro-inspired Pylon Sign is not only a stunning nod to the neighborhood’s heyday, but is also an award-winning landmark that embraces everything that Huntridge represents. In February 2017, the Huntridge Pylon Sign became the first place winner for the Public Art Category for the 10th Annual Mayor’s Urban Design Awards (MUDA). The sign, designed by Stephen Shortell and built by YESCO for Dapper Companies, won for its historic preservation, sustainability and livability in the MUDA, which was originally created in 2006 by Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman. The Huntridge Pylon Sign is just the first step in a wave of highly anticipated improvements by Dapper Companies that have become industry leaders in bringing the rich and influential historic neighborhood back to life as well as increasing the economic health of Downtown Las Vegas as a whole.
