The program for the MondayWednesday-Friday class is on Wednesday, June 7th, at 10:30 a.m. The program for the TuesdayThursday class is on Thursday, June 8th, at 10:30 a.m. The program for the 5 day class is on Thursday, June 8th at 2:30 p.m.
Please drop off your child at the regular time and then return for the program. Grandparents, aunts, uncles, siblings are invited. There will be a reception following the program for you and your family.
Openings for next year There are a few spots open in the T-TH Morning Class and in the 5 Day Afternoon Class. Please tell your friends if they’re looking for a preschool! Thanks! Join us for Vacation Bible School this summer Every summer, Peace in Christ hosts a week of Vacation Bible School which is a fun time to learn about Jesus and play with friends. VBS will be July 17-21. You will be able to register in June by going on Peace in Christ’s website: www.piclutheran.org. VBS is free and the children will receive a CD with the VBS songs we sing and a VBS tee-shirt. We hope you can join us this summer! This year’s theme is “MAKER FUN FACTORY: Created by God, Built for a purpose”.
1st Week of June: Summer Fun & The Baptism of Jesus This week’s theme is about summer fun! We will talk about all of the fun things we can do in the summer, like go camping and go to the lake. The preschoolers will talk about their favorite sports and games to play in the summer and discuss any upcoming trips and vacations. We will also learn about Jesus’ baptism. Jesus was baptized in the Jordan River. Some people are baptized in a river or lake, while others are baptized in a church. The preschoolers will learn why we get baptized, too. God washes us clean through the waters of baptism and we are His children! Skills Practiced This Week: Letter: B b Review: Colors, Shapes, Numbers Bible Story: The Baptism of Jesus Bible Verse: Then Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to be baptized by John. - Matthew 3:13
