I like the Beacon Centre because when I come to school I get all the help and support I need with my work and my behaviour. The teachers are really nice and the pupils get on really well
I like the Beacon centre because I’m able to come here and get the help I need with my work. The teachers are also really nice to us and deal with things in the right way. All the pupils are very kind and also a nice bunch of people to be around
I like the size of classes. The staff are outgoing and fun to be around. You get more help here than in mainstream schools
Not a lot of people. All the teachers get along with you. There is always someone to talk to. You get a lot of respect
I haven’t been here long but if you treat others with respect they will respect you.
What have been the benefits of your child attending the AEBSS?
Total change in attitude towards school, Attendance is higher and an improvement in all areas.
Do you have any suggestions for us on how to improve our service for other pupils?
No suggestions whatsoever. Staff are friendly and supportive and service towards my daughter has exceeded all expectations. She now enjoys attending school and all of her tutors

Seeing previous truants coming to lessons and making progress and being able to concentrate for longer periods
Working closely with students, getting to know their individual personalities

Helping students to find the self- confidence they lack to enable them to become better learners.
