An original design by Huckleberry Patches 136 E Lake St. McCall, Idaho 83638 (208) 634-4933 Using freezer paper, trace pattern pieces. Cut just outside the drawn line. Pin to your wool. Press gently with a hot iron for 3-5 seconds. Cut out shapes directly on the drawn line. Pull freezer paper off. Lay wool basket piece on your background square, using the pattern as your placement guide. Using floss of choice, stitch down with a small buttonhole stitch. If desired, leave an opening and lightly stuff your basket with a small scrap of batting, like our sample. Outline basket with a stem stitch. Stitch veins on leaves with a stem stitch. Place leaves in order according to the photo on your basket and tack down, leaving the edges free for a three-dimensional look. Stitch vine details with a stem stitch and French knots. Enjoy! Note: We used size 8 color numbers EZ07 and 25 Eleganza perle cotton floss in our sample. Feel free to contact us to purchase.
