Peter Whitlock 3804 Kilarney st Port Coquitlam, B.C. Canada V3B 3G6 Dear Peter
Many apologies for not writing before - I have been tied up with a college course for the past two years and have switched jobs which has meant that Family History has taken a back seat. However, I am finding time now to catch up on all my commitments. Please find enclosed, some information for you. You may have already heard from Peter Longley but if you haven't, I've enclosed his pedigree and a copy of a marriage certificate. There is also a photocopy of the relevant WHITLOCK (et var) entries from a book entitled "The Apprentices of Great Britain 1710-1762" held at the Society of Genealogists in London. Lastly, a few entries I have picked up in a recent visit: Oxford

I have recently borrowed the book by Ralph Whitlock - "A Victorian Village". I am convinced that there is a connection between my Whitlocks at Witney etc. and those at Pitton - the Christian name of Elisha seems to pop up quite frequently there. Do you have any idea if this name appears elsewhere?
