In honor of those who work hard to educate our kids, and grow the game of tennis, we have spotlighted a Physical Education teacher who has gone above and beyond to teach her kids the meaning of tennis. Also highlighted this week is another great opportunity to gather new training for you and your staff.

Spotlight Educator of the Week: Vickie LeBeaus Pantego Christian Academy, Arlington
Vickie LeBeaus was the 2010 PE Teacher of the Year for United States Tennis Association Join our Recreational On-Court Workshop Texas. After starting her new position as PE teacher hosted by the Austin Tennis Center in at the Pantego Christian Academy, she quickly Amarillo, Texas. Lead by Amanda Shaw and host Brad Morrison, this workshop will implemented 10 and Under Tennis with her students. Vickie not only put lines down on the inspire you with fresh ideas and motivation church parking lot but hosted a number of tennis for your summer coaching. [email protected] kids in the area. She has plans on growing her program even larger for the Fall 2012 school year! Because of her positive promotion of kids tennis, Vickie has helped three other private schools start PE tennis units. She has also encouraged students to join Jr. Team Tennis and to attend other tennis functions. Vickie has participated in multiple USTA training opportunities and is always promoting to her peers how much the kids love PE tennis. But the highlight for the school year was a visit from local wheelchair tennis player, Kate Stuteville, who is a senior in high school. Kate left a lasting impression on these kids with the message of "If I Can Play, So Can You!".
