IGF automatic recognition of Therapeutic Use Exemptions
In accordance with Article 4.4.2.1 of the 2015 IGF Anti-Doping Policy, Therapeutic Use Exemptions (TUE) that have been issued in line with the criteria set out in the International Standard for Therapeutic Use Exemptions by the National Anti-Doping Organisations from the countries listed below, will automatically be recognised by the International Golf Federation (IGF) for the purposes of a Player’s participation in an IGF International Event (please refer to list of events below). The IGF shall accept a TUE granted by a Professional Golf Tour, where the TUE has been determined in accordance with the International Standard for Therapeutic Use Exemptions. IGF International Events:
Olympic Games Youth Olympic Games World Amateur Team Championship The Amateur Championship The Boys Amateur Championship International European Ladies Amateur Championship International European Amateur Championship US Ladies Amateur Championship US Amateur Championship The Asian Amateur Championship, and any other tournament adopting directly the IGF Anti-Doping Policy, with the written agreement of the IGF.
A Player participating in an IGF International Event who has been granted a TUE from a National AntiDoping Organisation from a country not listed above, should apply to the IGF (
[email protected]) for the recognition of that TUE by submitting a copy of the TUE, the TUE application form and all supporting materials used to make the application for assessment by the IGF Therapeutic Use Exemption Committee.
