The Ihiji Invision solution provides a robust cloud-based remote network management device designed to securely monitor, service and maintain IP-enabled devices on client networks from anywhere in the world at any time. Using a single cloud-based platform, Ihiji provides a coherent end-to-end view of network performance across multiple technologies, including entertainment, HVAC, lighting and third party control system processors. The Invision online dashboard shows the real-time status of all client sites and colour-codes them according to error rate. Within an individual site network, you can see a system map that enables you to easily pinpoint problems. Installers can also receive e-mail alerts to notify support staff when problems occur on a site.

System Components The Ihiji Invision remote network management system comprises a choice of single-application Linux-based, passively-cooled network appliances that are installed on site (one per site) and an Annual Support Licence (one per client site). Simply choose the network management appliance that suits your installation based on the number of devices you wish to monitor. The APP-500-UK is a compact palm-sized appliance fitted with a 3-pin UK plug that supports installations with up to 50 IP-enabled devices. The APP-2100 supports larger installations, where management of more than 50 devices is required. You’ll need corresponding Annual Licence with Premium Support with either appliance.

Network scan facility provides a quick and convenient scan that collects data from connected network devices including IP address, MAC address, manufacturer and last-seen/first-seen instances. Moreover, the feature allows easy conversion of ‘discovered’ devices into actively managed devices, significantly reducing the time needed for configuration. Power management with full remote management functionality that goes beyond basic reboot/reset routines. New scheduled reboot capabilities expand the integrator’s ability to manage all power products from a central online dashboard, regardless of manufacturer or device type. This functionality spans PDUs, UPSs and PoE switches. Using ConnectNinja improves security by eliminating the need for unsecure port forwarding and VPNs for everyday remote access to networked IP devices. ConnectNinja allows authorised technicians to resolve complex issues remotely without on-site service calls, saving both the client and integrator time and money. Internet Speed Testing provides a powerful tool for testing network latency and internet connection quality by allowing support personnel to check and confirm network functionality plus relative upload/download speeds. It automatically logs and charts connection quality to identify trends and improve wide area network performance. Extended Reporting capabilities help troubleshoot complex network issues and offer better customer-facing reports to convey the value of remote support services to clients.
