Memorandum of Understanding
This document shall constitute a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between The
Support Personnel Association of Lee County (SPALC) and The School District of Lee County relating to Article 12.11 (Changes in Compensation) of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
The parties involved desire to enter into an agreement in which clarification is provided to Article 12.11(a).
Support staff employed by the District on 4/5/16, the date of ratification of this Collective Bargaining Agreement, who have worked one day more than half the length of their FY16 contract year as of 2/22/16, the date of Tentative Agreement, including those employees that were on approved leave during this period, will be eligible for a one (1)step increase retroactive to 11/1/15, with the exception of Security Specialist who were formerly Student Affairs Specialists and employees on Step 99 of the Salary Schedule. Employees on approved leave will be paid at this increased rate for time worked from 11/1/15 to the date of payment.
This agreement will be effective upon signing and remain so until ratification of a subsequent Collective Bargaining Agreement.
