IM TRIVIA NIGHT RULES These are the official rules for Ferris State Intramural Trivia Night. General policies and all official sport rules can be found on the Intramural Sports page on the UREC website.

Rule 1: Facility and Equipment Article 1. Facility – University Recreation Center: Room 114 a) Ferris State Intramural Sports has a zero tolerance policy for alcohol, tobacco, or any other drug at intramural events. Furthermore, Intramural Sports staff reserves the right to remove participants or fans suspected to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol. The removal process may involve the assistance of authorities such as Ferris State DPS or a member of the Big Rapids Police Department. Article 2. Equipment a) Trivia questions will be provided by the Intramural staff at the event. b) Teams must have at least one smart phone or tablet in order to compete due to the answers being submitted electronically.

Rule 2: Eligibility Article 1. Eligibility a) Ferris State students, staff, and faculty are allowed to participate in IM Sports. b) NO ID, NO PLAY. NO EXCEPTIONS! All players must present their own personal FSU ID card before every game in order to participate. c) If you are caught trying to use someone else’s ID, your team will forfeit that game, and the other person will need to come to the UREC office the following day to retrieve his/her ID. d) Each team should be signed up on IM Leagues before the start of the contest.

Rule 3: Intramural Trivia Night Specifics Article 1. General Procedures a) The maximum number of players per team is 3. Article 2. Teams a) The game shall be played between teams of 3 players each. b) Each team should have 2-3 players. c) A team must have a minimum of 2 players per week per contest.

IM TRIVIA NIGHT RULES b) A kahoot will be used to distribute the questions, each team will have 5 seconds to read the question and 30 seconds to answer. c) Once the time has ran out or all teams have answered, a scoreboard with the top five teams will display on the screen. Once everyone has a chance to see their ranking, the next question will be displayed. d) Each week consists of 100 question for four weeks. e) At the end of each night, each team’s score will be recorded and added to their previous score. At the end of the night on the fourth week, whoever has the most points will be declared the winner.
