Median Income for Immigrants by Census Tract The map to the left displays the median income for each census tract. More than half of the immigrant workers in two areas in Bucks County (near Nockamixon State Park and New Hope) make more than $123,000 per year. Race and ethnic breakdowns in Bucks County shows that Hispanic and Asian communities are the largest minority groups of immigrant householders. The table at the bottom right shows that immigrant communities born in India are the most common Households, but there are more than 85 birthplaces that make up the remaining 45% of households. In the chart at the bottom left of the page, the income distribution for Bucks county shows that there are proportionally more high income bracket earners than in the state of Pennsylvania as a whole.

Immigrants in Bucks County, PA 2010-2014 Most Common World Region of Birth for Immigrants

The map to the left shows the most common world region of birth for immigrants in each tract. Note that there are more birthplaces, but the most common birthplace for each area is the only region displayed on the map. Eastern European communities between Feasterville and New Hope as well as South Central Asian communities are the most common birthplaces for individuals living in Bucks County. Unlike many other places in the U.S., Spanish is not the dominant language spoken at home by immigrants. The chart below shows that English and Russian are more common. Families in Bucks county also tend to have more children (up to 3 children per household), and there are proportionally fewer households without children than the state communities.
