IMPACT Concussion Testing Freshmen and Transfer Students: Prior to your first practice and/or conditioning session at Mercy College you will need to complete the baseline test for our concussion testing protocol. The instructions are below, please read carefully and make sure you understand before you begin. Make sure that you set up in an area where it is quiet, you have no distractions, and you will not have internet connectivity problems (desktop computers are better than laptops). Below are the instructions for you to access and take the IMPACT concussion baseline test. This must be completed prior to your first session or you will not be medically cleared to participate. There is no pass or fail this is just a baseline so that if you do sustain a head injury we can use these results to compare to when we are returning you back into your sport. 1. Go to http://www.impacttestonline.com/testing 2. Type in the customer code: 0B74F7E8CC 3. Choose “English” 4. Follow the step by step instructions to take the test 5. When you complete the test it will tell you that you are done and ask if you want to print a confirmation. You DO NOT need to print confirmation. *Read each set of instructions carefully before you begin so that you understand what you are being asked to do. **Make sure you take this in a quiet place where you will not be interrupted and your internet connection will not cut out
When you have completed this test please email [email protected] and let us know, so that we can make sure you are logged in the system as having a baseline.
