ü  Support  the  change  in  fishing  gears.     ü  Develop  a  control  document  staCng  that:  a)  suppliers  will  not  accept   undersized  crabs  and  berried  females  and  b)  buyers  can  perform  audits  or   inspecCons  to  establish  that  the  policy  has  been  implemented.   ü  Support  government  in  establishing  harvest  management  policy/regulaCons.

2016   • CIAM  selected   a  consultant   for  a  MSC  Pre-­‐   Assessment  

2016   • CIAM  and   SFP  will   develop  a   workplan  for   the  FIP

ü  Raise  awareness  of  sustainable  fisheries  &  marine  conservaCon.   ü  Collect  data  in  cooperaCon  with  local  authoriCes,  traders  and   fishermen.   ü  Implement  1st  Fairtrade  standard  for  wild-­‐capture  fisheries  pilot   project.   ü  Cooperate  with  naConal  government  fisheries  authoriCes  and   organizaCons  working  towards  improving  the  sustainability  of   Indonesian  tuna  fisheries  and  their  communiCes.
