Large Group Calendar/Helpers • MM19, "I Spy With My Little Eye" • Create a low ramp and demonstrate with a ball. • Use comparison words, fast, faster, fastest • Review the last investigation about the effects of dropping a bouncy ball from different heights. Calendar/Helpers • MM89, "We Like Clapping" • Introduce the family member and tell what sports he or she plays. • Invite children to ask questions. • If possible have visitor demonstrate how they move the ball. Family Partnerships: Do you use an exercise ball? If so, we'd like to invite you to visit our class next Monday to show the children how to use it. Also, we are looking for a grandparent or other older family or community member who can tell us a story next Tuesday about a ball game that he or she played as a child. Finally, we are looking for a family member who has a pet that plays with a ball to visit the class next Wednesday. If you (or someone you know) is able to join us for any of these activities, please let us know. Finally, please take some time this week to access the ebook, The Three Little Pigs.
