Indiana State Police Lt. Gary Dudley, an avid bike rider, died on August 22, 2006. He was killed while participating in a charity bicycle ride to raise funds and awareness for the Indiana Chapter of Concerns for Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.). The Gary Dudley Memorial Foundation was established to award college scholarships to children of police officers killed in the line of duty in Indiana. Through the foundation, his mission of assisting families of fallen officers will continue.

Continue on I-70 to the 267 North Exit Indiana Law Enforcement Academy Take 267 North to 1st Stop Light (Hadley) 5402 Sugar Grove Road, Plainfield, IN Turn left on Hadley, continue on Hadley through 1st round-about; at 2nd round-about take 1st right onto 700E and continue just over 1/2 mile to ILEA Training Academy.

In accordance of the acceptance of this application for “Gary’s Ride”, and realizing the risks involved with the sport, I hereby waive, release and discharge any and all claims of damage or death, personal injury, misadventure, and/or property damage which may happen during the event. I hereby release and hold harmless the event organizers, volunteers, sponsors, ILEA, Gary Dudley Memorial Foundation, Gary’s Ride, and all SAG hosts and locations from and against any and all liabilities arising from or connected with my participation in this event. I further understand that a bicycle is a legal vehicle of the road in the state of Indiana, and I will ride in accordance with the Indiana Vehicle Code. I recognize that the sponsors and or promoters of this event require the use of a helmet while riding a bicycle. By signing below you also grant permission to the “Gary’s Ride”, & “Gary Dudley Memorial Foundation” Staff and any of its’ partners to use and publish, for promotional items, any and all photographs taken of participants, by the staff, during the event.
