INDUSTRY NIGHT A Remarkable Event Pearlina Thomas, Louisiana Associated General Contractors Hurricane Katrina was one of the most devastating hurricanes to have hit the United States in the last 100 years. The storm caused an estimated $81 billion in damage and ravaged coastal towns in Mississippi, as well as New Orleans, the largest city in Louisiana. In this presentation, Pearlina Thomas of Louisiana Associated General Contractors will share experiences of contractors in the recovery effort as well as lessons learnt.
