Job Description Software and Web Development Internship 500-2015-03 NetBoss Technologies, Inc. is a privately held company headquartered in Sebastian, Florida. With more than 200 installations worldwide, we have the time-tested experience, knowledge and technology required to provide a total Network Management and integrated Service Assurance OSS (Operations Support System) solutions for serviceoriented network operators. In addition to our core NetBoss XT® architecture and application-specific modules, we work with best-in-class technology and solution vendors to deliver an optimized integrated service assurance solution that is tailored to meet the specific needs of our customers. The Software and Web Development Internship role has a basic understanding of Java coding, html development and visual interface technologies. This position is responsible for building a new user interface and the required APIs to interface with an existing product. Position Responsibilities:
Building demonstrations of the new and existing product capabilities based on requirements. Work with Engineering to help define and visualize demonstration capabilities based on specific scenarios through the use of dashboard, java coding and database technologies Configure existing systems to provide the foundation for application demonstrations
Position Qualifications - Experience & Expertise:
General knowledge of Java and JavaScript coding General knowledge of HTML development General knowledge of Visual interface technologies. General knowledge of REST and SOAP technologies A minimum 3.0 GPA
Position Skills:
A genuine passion for solving problems Excellent organizational, verbal communication Works well with others and requires limited direction once goals are established
Additional:
Located at company headquarters in Sebastian, FL US. Close to Interstate 95. Internship, paid hourly. Schedule - 40 hours per week preferred, during the semester. Some weeks can be fewer hours to accommodate a student’s personal appointments. Hours are generally 8am-5pm. If you prefer, hours can be 9-6, or some days with 7:30-4:30. Part-time internships are sometimes available.
