Suitable for 12.5mm thick plasterboard including rendered plasterboard
Fixing Instructions: Drill appropriate Diameter holes. Screw Sizes: from 3.5mm to M8 Do not drill holes oversize as this may reduce safe loading.

Continue to gently tap the screw head until the top of the Grip It fixing is below the plasterboard surface. If the plasterboard has been rendered with plaster, the fixing must be 6mm 6mm below the plasterboard surface, this can be checked with the 6mm gauge provided. If the plasterboard surface has not been rendered the fixing must be 3mm below 3mm the plasterboard surface, this can also be checked using the 3mm gauge.

Mark out the centre line positions where Grip It fixings are to be positioned. Then drill, using the recommended size drill bit, the required number of holes.
With a small screwdriver rotate both locking arm shafts in a clockwise direction for approximately 1/3 turn (120 degrees) until a firm resistance is detected, which indicates that the arms are fully extended. (if resistance is felt immediately, tap the fixing in until the arms move freely then continue to turn in a clockwise direction)
Step Five:
Step Two: 6mm

Position the Grip It fixing in the hole with the anti-rotation blades in a horizontal 6mm in to the hole position. Gently tap the fixing with a light hammer until fixing is near the plasterboard surface. Insert a screw and turn three or four times in the fixing. 3mm
Grip It fixings are designed to accept screws of various lengths provided that the tip of the screw when fully inserted does not make contact with a solid brick or block wall. To determine the maximum length of the screws, measure the thickness of the item to be secured to the wall, then add between 15 to 20mm for plasterboard and clearances.
