I normally skim past the subject. Stairs and Railing families can get extremely complicated. They are one of the strong points of Revit’s modeling ability. They are also one of the week points of Revit Detailing. Stairs are a great example of the 80 - 20 rule of Revit Detailing.
Project Work Your Model will need at least one stair. You will need to also create an enlarged Stair Plan including Sections and Call outs. A- 310 : Stair Sections Include the following Views
Enlarged Stair Plan: 1st Floor Plan Callout of your Stair (1/4 Scale) Stair Section North & Stair Section East (1/4 Scale) Hand Rail Detail: 1/4 Scale
