SupplyPoint Integration Framework Use UXC Eclipse’s SupplyPoint Integration Framework Add-on for all your electronic data integration needs. The Add-on offers flexible and customizable support for inbound and outbound communication with external parties using multiple delivery methods. To support faster turn-around times, lower costs and better accuracy in your partner data integration, your business should be using the UXC Eclipse SupplyPoint Integration Framework Add-on. The
Add-on provides support for inbound and outbound message configuration, manipulation, delivery and processing, with unlimited external trading partners, documents and formats.
How it Works The electronic data interchange functionality is completely configured and controlled inside Microsoft Dynamics NAV with an extensible Windows Service utilized for message translation and delivery. Microsoft Dynamics NAV monitors business activities requiring outbound communication and automatically generates messages and data sets with associated business process information for immediate actions. These are queued for delivery, and stored maintaining access to original messaging from the business activity. All inbound messages are delivered directly into Microsoft Dynamics NAV, queued for load balancing, and processed using workflow enabling further customization of inbound data without developer support.
Outbound Integration Outbound messages are generated based on type of business process, the specific document, and the event triggering the message. The exact fields required for integration can be specified to configure all outbound messaging. The SupplyPoint Integration Framework Add-on integrates specific business documents and all tables available in Microsoft Dynamics NAV. When integrating with multiple trading parties, each partner can specify formatting and message filters to suit their needs. There are multiple message delivery options available to trading parties, including email, file, FTP or web service. Out-of-the-box standards and custom development can be achieved using plug-in .net libraries to edit messages ahead of delivery.

Inbound Integration Inbound integration in the SupplyPoint Integration Framework Add-on is configured based on type of inbound document and how the inbound message is to be actioned. Out-of-the-box support is provided for a number of GS1 standards including: ORDERS\850, DESADV\856, RETANN\180, HANMOV\940 and RECADV\861. Many of the standard Microsoft Dynamics NAV documents, journals and master-data records are also supported including all sales, purchase and warehouse documents.
When configuring an inbound integration document, SupplyPoint Integration Framework Add-on caters for the addition of workflow to each inbound document, enabling message receipt, actions to be taken, and decisions made based on message content. The wide-reaching flexibility of message handling from multiple trading partners is apparent when combining the functionality of the Addon and workflow processing for inbound message integration; providing easy access to automatically evaluate messages, take actions or notify users directly. When inbound messages are processed by the workflow all activities are logged providing a full audit trail for later review if a message is rejected. In many cases as soon as the data is corrected the workflow continues on and releases the message into Microsoft Dynamics NAV.

Extensibility The SupplyPoint Integration Framework Add-on provides comprehensive flexibility through the use of Microsoft .Net Framework reflection technology, enabling end users to develop custom formats, as required without affecting the core product or causing future upgrade issues. Plug-in code units can be used to make custom changes in Microsoft Dynamics NAV, supporting inbound message requirements, and ensuring these remain easy to deploy, re-usable and have no impact on future upgrades.
API Support Many integration functions require real-time feedback such as freight calculations on sales orders. The Add-on supports user configurable real-time API calls to third party systems, catering for out-of-the-box and custom integration to third party systems where an immediate answer is required and queued messaging will not meet the requirements. The same flexible and customizable functionality applies to the API components and completes the full circle of required integration components.
