Closing & Possession: Balance of purchase price due on or before Friday, July 5th, 2013. If the balance due is not paid prior to that date, the 10% earnest money will be forfeited by Buyer.

Internet Terms: Winning bidder will enter into an Offer to Buy immediately upon being declared the Successful Bidder. Upon the close of the auction the winning bidder will be forwarded via email or other preferred method an Offer to Buy. A signed copy of the Offer to Buy must be received by Peoples Company (hand delivered, faxed, emailed, or mailed within 24 hours upon close of auction). A 10% earnest money payment is required upon acceptance of the Offer to Buy by certified check or wire transfer. The balance of the purchase price will be due on or before Friday, July 5th, 2013. Bidding ends at 5:00 PM Central Time on Thursday, June 6, 2013. A last minute bid will extend bidding by 5 minutes until bidding completes. If you plan to bid, please register 24 hours prior to close of auction.

Possession will be granted when the State of Iowa issues a Land Patent Deed approximately 90 days after the auction. Buyer will not receive an Abstract of Title. Should a Buyer want an Abstract of Title and / or Title Search completed, it shall be at their sole discretion, responsibility, and expense. Once all monies are received, Buyer should allow for up to 90 days for issuance of State Land Patent.

Under no circumstances shall Bidder have any kind of claim against Peoples Company or its affiliates if the Internet service fails to work correctly before or during the auction. Taxes: DOT is an exempt organization and there will be no tax proration at closing.
