Step 1 — iPhone 7 Plus Teardown 

Power off the phone first.



Undo 2 pentalobe screws at the bottom side like always.

Step 2



Use a suction cup to open a gap between the rear housing assembly and screen assembly.



When the small gap is generated, use a plastic spudger to insert to the gap and cut the adhesives around the screen edges.

Step 3 — Remove Screen Assembly



Lift up the screen assembly from one side to another side softly.

Step 4 — Disconnect flex cable connectors



Undo 3 tri-point screws holding the rear camera with sensor flex cable connector metal cover.



Remove themetal cover and disconnect the connector underneath.



Undo 4 tri-point screws holding the screen connector and then remove the metal cover.

Step 5



Remove screen display connector and digitizer connector.



Now the screen assembly can be removed.

Step 6



Remove screws holding the metal cover and then remove the metal cover.



Now remove earpiece speaker.

Step 7



Gently remove the front camera flex cable with sensor.



Notice: there are adhesives underneath.

Step 8



Undo screws holding the home button flex cable.



Disconnect the home button flex cable connector.



Remove home button flex cable now.

Undo all the screws which securing the LCD shield to the screen frame.



Then remove the LCD shield.

Step 10



Undo 2 screws here and remove this metal cover.



Then you can release all these connectors for battery,antenna assembly flex cable and dual-rear camera.

Step 11



Disconnect the charging port flex cable connector, signal cable connector and battery connector.



By the way, you can take out the SIM card tray here.

Undo 2 screws holding rear camera cover and then remove the metal cover.



Now remove rear facing camera.

Insert wisdom here.

Remove the screws holding the motherboard in the top side.

Undo screws in the middle part of the motherboard.



Now remove motherboard.

Step 16



Remove the Taptic Enginescrews and the Apple called barometric vent screw.



Then remove this plastic barometric vent.

Pull out these 2 battery adhesive stripes and battery can be easily removed.

Step 18



Remove all screws securing the charging port flex cable assembly.



Don't forget the screws inside the rear housing.

Undo the screw which holding the loudspeaker module, then remove the loudspeaker.

Step 20



Apply some heat to charging port flex cable assembly cause there are adhesives underneath.



Then pick up the charging port flex cable.

Undo all the screws which securing the volume& power button flex cable ribbon.



There are adhesives underneath the flex cable, you can apply some heat to the flex cable if you like.



After loosen the adhesives, remove the side button flex cable gently.
