IS NOW A GOOD TIME TO SELL? Is now the right time to sell? This is a question that is on many people’s mind given the almost frantic pace of the real estate market right now. If this is a question on your mind, then consider that real estate conditions for seller’s are better now than they have been for the past 7 years . The ‘sales to active listings ratio’ for the month of March was 32%, a number that hasn’t been seen since 2007. Overall, sales are up over 50% in Greater Vancouver as compared to 2014, and listings are down in most areas. The end result is strong competition among home buyers which is leading to multiple offer situations where the home is priced correctly. WEST VANCOUVER - DETACHED

Will these strong market conditions for sellers continue? This is a ‘crystal ball’ question and like trying to time the top or bottom of the stock market. How long these market conditions last are anyone’s guess and can be impacted by many economic, investment and immigration factors but the statistics certainly indicate that current market conditions are working in favour of sellers.
