Meet Lead Staff Alanna Jones

the

Staff

My name is Alanna Jones. I grew up near Seattle WA, where I spent nearly every weekend outdoors hiking, biking, skiing, kayaking, or playing soccer. The highlight of my summer when I was growing up was going to camp. I later spent my summers as a camp counselor. In college I discovered I could combine my love of being active and playing games with my interest in psychology and earned my degree in Recreation Therapy. I have worked in the psychiatric setting where I gained the knowledge to write books filled with therapeutic activities. I now own my own publishing company and write and publish activity books. I also coach soccer at the high school near where I live in southern Maryland. I am excited to lead ISAAC and looking forward to the challenge of providing the best activities and games for the group so everyone will be want to keep coming back for more!

Abi Chavez

Support Staff Donnie Wortham

Greetings All! My name is Abigail Chavez. I am a senior at George Mason University. I worked 3 summers with the TR Office. Two summers as part of the extended hours staff at McKinley Summerfest Camp, the elementary designated site. My 3rd summer I worked at Adventure Quest. This is the teen camp offered by the TR Office. During the past school year I helped with ISSAC, the middle school social club through TR. I enjoy playing sports, but also love using my creativity to do art projects. I look forward to working and overall I want to have FUN!

My name is Donald Wortham. This will be my 1st school year participating in the ISSAC program. Born in Washington, DC and raised in Arlington, VA. I have grown up to realize that my passion to work with the younger kids is growing daily. I have worked in numerous internships, rehab centers, camps and I am currently working at Thomas Jefferson Middle School as a Distance Learning counselor. I have gained a lot of experiences over the years which has led to my love to sports and arts & craft activities, including basketball, pottery, and soccer. In addition my goal is to bring excitement, respect and FUN to this program.
