years of History

1962

Giancarlo Piccini and Fulvio Bassich found the carpentry Piccini & Bassich.

1975

Is put into production the first manual machine tool for the machining of sheet metal



by punching - T30/850.

1978

The carpentry is transformed into a manufacturer of machine tools taking the new



name Technology S.r.l.

1981

The T30 evolves and the first CNC punching machine TECNUMERIK 1000 is designed and manufactured.

1991

The first Tecnotransfer with the innovative vertical tool change system, worldwide patented solution, was born.

1998

The path in the industrial automation world is started with the realization of the first system of automatic loading and unloading of metal sheet.

The first punch produced (Genova 1975)

2001

The first automatic island for metal sheet working is realized.

2003

The company enters the world of laser technology, (soggetto verbo) designing and manufacturing the first laser cutting machine - TECNOLASER 2000W.

2004

The index technology is introduced into the single tool machine, thus allowing the full rotation of the tool - TECNOINDEX.

2005

The first synchronized press brake is designed and manufactured - TECNOBEND.

2008

The range of the punching machines is radically renewed by introducing the new



EVO TT.

The first automatic punching machine with 5 stations with horizontal tool change system is realized - TEKNOFIVE

AUTO-INDEX Punching Unit

Each welded frame is designed with the highest accuracy using the finite element method (FEM) with advanced software, is made of steel S 355 normalized to guarantee stability and accuracy over time and is supplied with its specific certificate of normalization. The quality of materials, machinings and treatments.

The vertical movement of the punch is generated by an extremely advanced and reliable electromechanical system which allows carrying out any type of machining with the highest accuracy, thanks to the AUTO-INDEX system totally integrated inside the punching unit that makes it rotating on 360° with all the loaded tools, and to the centesimal control of the punch penetration through CNC. Quality and reliability of our solutions.

Other Technologies

•Moving of X and Y axes is precise, fast and reliable over time. The X - Y axis have a positioning accuracy of ± 0.08 mm.

•Variable number of clamps (2 to 4) for the sheet plate, with adjustable holding force. Their special shape allows to hold sheets with pre-bended edges.

•The special design of the punching unit allows a very fast changing time of the tools and the Multi-Tool® (approx. 10 seconds).

•The electrical panel on the ground saves electronic components from stress generated by vibrations generated during the machining operations.

Our Technologies

Turret tool change with 5 AUTO-INDEX stations

The new system consists of a rotating turret that supports 5 stations where you can load the holders to use the TECHNOLOGY or TRUMPF® style tools and Multi-Tool®. All single tools and the tools of the Multi-Tool® can rotate from 0° to 360° (INDEX) with centesimal precision. The system is also designed to allow loading and setting operation in less than 1,5 min., to ensure the possibility to change any tool in every sheet position and at any stage of the processing cycle and to enable the bidirectional searching of the right station. •The sheet is moved on supporting tables with brushes and steel balls that facilitate a maximum noisless sliding.

•Our machines can be equipped with the wide variety of punching tools TRUMPF® style, standard, special and Multi-Tool to meet any production requirement.

Vertical Tool Change with 15 AUTO-INDEX stations

The innovative tool change system on vertical axis (worldwide patented) is composed of two carousels for a total of 15 tool holders. The system gives our machine tip of some significant advantages such as the possibility of loading and setting in less than 4 min., having all the tools rotating from 0 ° to 360 (INDEX), being able to have up to 75 tools with the use of Multi-Tool® and having the working area free of obstructions to facilitate the forming processes. •On our machines the WILSON TOOL wheel tools can be used to create dragging deformations.

•The WILSON TOOL tapping tool offers the possibility to thread holes with great precision and speed.

FANUC® is a world leader in the design and manufacture of numerical control and that is why we equip our machines with their CNC.

Our machines can be equipped, on specific request of our customers, with offline software developed and manufactured by major specialized companies. Through the use of CAD / CAM software, you can: •Make graphical programming of the machine starting from CAD drawings. •Program the machine starting from 3D models, previously imported. •Manage fully automated metal sheets cells. By installing the specific offline software for the TECHNOLOGY machine purchased, we guarantee our customers the ability to manage their production with the highest level of automation, taking into account the single technological needs and having the possibility to save valuable time to further increase the their productivity.

CAD/CAM 3D

For the realization of our machines we use FANUC CNC with graphical interface TECNOCONTROL in Windows environment, specifically designed to make simple and intuitive the use of the machine by the operator. For the numerical control, true heart of our machines, we make use of the precious and prestigious cooperation with FANUC ®, a leading designer and manufacturer of CNC for machine tools with more than 2.2 million CNC and more than 10,000,000 servo motors installed worldwide. Together with FANUC ®, who provides fully warranty for 24 months on all its products, we enable our customers to take advantage of an extensive network of worldwide support and we assure the availability of spare parts for 25 years.
