你說的那家新的保齡球館很近嗎？ nǐ shuō de nà jiā xīn de bǎolíngqiúguǎn hěnjìn ma？ Is the new bowling alley you're talking about nearby?

B:

不太遠，就在路口，離你家也不遠。 bùtài yuǎn， jiù zài lùkǒu， lí nǐ jiā yě bù yuǎn。 It's not far, it's just at the intersection, not far from your house.

A:

離我家多遠？ lí wǒ jiā duō yuǎn？ How far from my house?

B:

走路大概十五分鐘。 zǒu lù dàgài shí wǔ fēnzhōng。 About fifteen minutes on foot.

A:

我家門口有公交站，那搭公交車要多久？ wǒ jiā ménkǒu yǒu gōngjiāozhàn， nà dā gōngjiāochē yào duō jiǔ？ There's a bus station just outside my house, so how far is it by bus?

B:

搭公交車五分鐘。 dā gōngjiāochē wǔ fēnzhōng。 It's five minutes by bus.
