May, 2015 - Elna USA introduces the eXellence 680 The eXcellence 680 is both a powerful and convenient 9mm machine made to save you time and make your sewing easier. This computerized machine offers a large “freearm” workspace area so that there is more room for large quilting projects. This 170 built-in stitch machine offers top-of-the-line features like an Automatic Thread Cutter and Tension System and 7-piece feed dog. Stop by our store for a demonstration and see upclose this new feature-rich machine.

- Synchrony Financing Available We are offering new Synchrony Financing which became available in February. This is a great tool for large purchases. We provide 6 months of deferred interest, meaning if you pay the card off prior to the end of that time you have paid no interest at all. Either Susan or Dan will need to process your applications, which only takes a few minutes, so there may be a time lag from the time you apply and the approval is issued.

- Sun Country Quilters Guild Showcased The month of April saw a one-week exhibition of quilts from the Sun County Quilters 2015 Challenge Quilts competion on our store’s display wall. The challenge this year was to create a quilt utilizing a fabric with an alphabet letters pattern. For those who may have missed this exhibition, or others who want to take an additional look at these fine quilts, pages 2 and 3 of this newsletter contain the exhibit’s entire lineup.

Its Show Time We have dedicated space in our store to allow our customers to exhibit their best work. Special rails have been constructed to allow for the hanging of quilts without the risk of damage. Are you interested in showcasing your best work to other customers and visitors to our store? If so, email us at: [email protected] with your proposal. If you would like to be featured in a profile article in a future issue of Quilt’n Thyme Quarterly, send us a brief autobiography (approximately 200 words) or contact us to arrange for an interview.
