B:

鱼刺卡在喉咙里了。 yúcì qiǎ zài hóulong lǐ le。 There is a fishbone stuck in my throat.

A:

快，吞一口馒头！…… kuài， tūn yī kǒu mántou！…… Quick, swallow a bite of steamed bread! .....

A:

怎么样？下去了吗？ zěnmeyàng？ xiàqù le ma？ How is it? Did it go down?

A:

再吞一大口饭。嘴巴张大。咽下去。 zài tūn yī dà kǒu fàn。 zuǐbā zhāng dà。 yàn xiàqù。 Now swallow a mouthful of rice. Open your mouth up wide. Swallow it.

A:

来，再喝点醋！鱼刺还在吗？ lái， zài hē diǎn cù！ yúcì háizài ma？ Here, drink some vinegar now! Is the fishbone still there?

B:

还在。
