N°22 PINOT NOIR Grape Variety: 100% Pinot Noir Vintage: 2012 Region: Sonoma Coast, Sonoma County, California Winemaking Notes: Aged for 12 months in French Oak barrels, 33% new oak. Tasting Notes: Elegant aromas of black cherry, plum sauce and worchestershire complimented by flavors of blackberries, black pepper, boysenberry and dark chocolate-covered coffee beans. What The Number 22 Signifies: Each JCB wine is known by a number. And each number has deep significance for Jean-Charles Boisset, the collection’s creator and namesake. No. 22 represents the number eleven twice, and 11 is Jean-Charles’ lucky number. No. 22 was chosen because this wine has twice the intensity, grandeur and charisma of most Pinot Noirs. Food Friends: Peking Duck, Roasted Pork Tenderloin.
