Security Set Up and Management Our Security solutions enable you to align your security closely with your Task Views to make it easier to manage. We offer two alternative solutions, depending upon your specific needs:
Security Manager Express Easy to use, low cost, highly automated tools for very rapid implementation of All Doors Closed. Security Manager Express is designed to help organizations who have an urgent need to lock down their systems quickly and cost-effectively, without incurring the overheads of having to design a sophisticated security model. It provides built-in productivity tools to reduce the effort and duplication of creating and managing Task Views, then enables you
to automatically generate security settings that grant access in line with the Fine Cut Task Views that you have defined. It also enables you to import existing Task View/Role information from spreadsheets, or to import existing security from your current F00950 if required. All security generated will initially be held in a ‘Prebuild’ table, to allow you to validate and refine it before creating the live F00950 table. You can then use Security Manager Express’s proactive Segregation of Duties (SoD) and Multiple Role conflict checking facilities to identify any violations or conflicts that exist BEFORE you unwittingly build security loopholes into your live security.

Security, Compliance and Admin Tools Solutions for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.x Security Manager Pro Designed for companies who need to reduce the cost and effort of managing frequent changes whilst ensuring that security is robust and sustainable. To avoid duplicated effort, Security Manager Pro enables you to define reusable security Components. Where many Roles need the same access to a program, such as Address Book Update, the security can be defined once as a Component, then attached to any number of Roles. When the settings need to be changed, you only need to make the changes once, to the
Component, to update the security for all affected Roles. Similarly, Row Security can be defined as a Component and attached to Users/Roles as appropriate, removing the need for it to be repeated and maintained in every Role. For rapid implementation, Components can be automatically generated from Task Views. You can also import your existing security. As with Security Manager Express, initially security is held in a “Prebuild” table to enable you to run SoD and Multiple Role conflict checks before building the live security tables.

A reporting tool designed to: expedite the process of collating the evidence needed by auditors during a JD Edwards security audit enable users to interrogate security settings to identify or investigate vulnerabilities, such as SoD violations, that exist in the live environment. Audit Manager’s scanning engine analyzes your live F00950 security table and provides a comprehensive set of standard reports.
A powerful, flexible reporting tool that extends the powerful reporting capabilities of Hubble (formerly Insight Reporting) to the JD Edwards and QSoftware security tables. It equips both IT staff and business users to retrieve important security and compliance information as and when they need it. Notifications are issued automatically at all stages, and a full audit trail of all activity is maintained. Profile Manager includes the first Mobile App for E1 security, enabling staff away from the office to submit or approve Role Assignment requests without needing a JD Edwards login.
Greatly simplifies common tasks such as resetting passwords and creating new Users, enabling customers to delegate them to Help Desk, support or administrative staff.
