Bible Story: Jesus forgives (John 8:1-11)
Family Challenge Play a game called 4 real 4 free 4 ever. Give everyone in your family four slips of paper and have them write the number four on each one. Remind everyone that God wants us to forgive others the same way He forgives us: 4 real, 4 free, 4 ever. Each person should then hide their number fours throughout the house some place they will be discovered later in the week such as the refrigerator, the sock drawer, the bathroom, etc. Whenever a family member finds a 4, let it be a reminder to forgive each other in the big and small things throughout the week.

Dinnertime Discussion At dinnertime this week, ask one of these questions to get your family talking. 1. Are you mad at anyone this week? 2. Has anyone hurt your feelings? 3. Is there anyone you need to forgive? 4. What does it look like to forgive someone for real, for free, and forever? Use these questions to help kids think about whom they may need to forgive this week. Pray with them to help them get to a place where they can forgive for real, for free, forever.
