Roseville, CA - May 22 Five heavily disguised suspects charged into an upscale jewelry store, smashed the watch cases with baseball bats and ran off with 30 high-end watches. Jewelry Tracker immediately alerted police who tracked the suspects as they fled onto the freeway and eventually became stationary at a suspect’s house. Police apprehended the robbers and recovered all of the watches. The Detective Sergeant said, “Without the tracker, this case wouldn’t have been solved, and the suspects who were so heavily disguised would never have been identified.” The suspects are believed to be responsible for several other robberies and tied to a couple of homicides in the Bay area.

Police tracked and when the suspect became stationary, set up a perimeter around the location and enlisted the help of a K-9 Unit. The suspect was apprehended and a full recovery was made. The suspect has confessed to a total of 19 robberies (banks, a home improvement store, pizzerias, pawn shops and convenience stores) across Las Vegas since November 1, 2016. The FBI has taken over the case and the suspect is looking at significant federal time.

Memphis, TN - Sep 27 Three suspects stole jewelry from a pawn shop and fled by vehicle. GPS allowed police to track the suspects as they traveled a long distance in an attempt to escape. All of the jewelry was recovered, and the three suspects were apprehended. One of the suspects is part of a serial robbery team called Bonnie and Clyde and is believed to be responsible for two recent robberies.
