The Chair of Business Taxation, International Tax Law and Auditing is part of the Department of Finance & Accounting (FACT), an organizational unit of nine chairs. To strengthen our team we are always happy about interesting applications for the position of a
Research Assistant for 19.5 hours per week, limited initially for one year, with the option to extend. The research focus of the department is on international and European tax law, particularly in the areas of German international tax law, the Double Tax Treaty, European fiscal law (incl. Law on state aid), the taxation of investment vehicles and the transformation process in Central and Eastern Europe. Your tasks: • you will support the Chair in research and education (German and international tax law and accounting according to HGB) • you will organize and participate at excursions at home and abroad and supervise students at EBS Business and Law School Your profile: • You have finished your university degree, preferably above average in the field of economics or law with the relevant specifications (MSc Audit / Tax or first state examination) • You have strong methodological and analytical skills. • You have a keen interest in the Chair’s priorities and both research and practical issues. • Your specialties are initiative, the ability to work in a team as well as on your own and you have a strong command of communication skills, flexibility and fluency in English.
